OUR HISTORY

Founded in 2014 by Matthew Linecar-Boulton, Dancebox Studios & Theatre Works quickly emerged as a beacon of excellence in dance and performing arts training in Milton Keynes. Under Matthew's seasoned guidance, the studio has nurtured a host of talent, with many of its junior students going on to grace the stages of the West End and secure coveted places in the Royal Ballet School Associate programme. Moreover, Dancebox is proud to supply the junior dancers for the cherished annual Milton Keynes pantomime, further demonstrating its integral role within the local arts community.

In 2016, the studio expanded its educational offerings by launching a rigorous Sixth Form course, further cementing its commitment to nurturing the next generation of performers. Four years later, in 2020, Dancebox undertook its most ambitious project yet - the launch of a full three-year BA(Hons) Degree course in Professional Dance & Musical Theatre. This programme has been a resounding success, attracting hundreds of students from across the country who have relocated to Milton Keynes to benefit from the exceptional training provided at Dancebox. Today, Dancebox is not just a studio or college; it is a global epicenter for dance education and a cornerstone of the Milton Keynes arts scene.
