MATTHEW LINECAR-BOULTON
FOUNDER & CEO
Matthew Linecar-Boulton, Founder & CEO of Dancebox Studios & Theatre Works, is a distinguished dance educator and former West End performer whose career has spanned the highest levels of both stage and studio. With over 15 years of professional performance experience, Matthew has appeared in an extraordinary eight West End productions, a testament to his versatility, discipline, and artistic excellence.
Driven by a firm belief that exceptional teachers must combine formal training with real-world performance experience, Matthew built a career that saw him perform for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, dance on international cruise tours, appear in pop videos, pantomimes, and eventually take centre stage in iconic West End productions including Starlight Express, Wicked, Mary Poppins, Fame, Footloose, Tonight’s The Night, Desperately Seeking Susan, and We Will Rock You.
Among his proudest achievements is a 3½-year tenure as Dance Captain and Dance Management for legendary choreographer and Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips, during the original London production of We Will Rock You.
Today, Matthew channels his vast industry experience into leading one of the UK’s most respected training institutions, where his vision, credibility, and high standards continue to shape the stars of tomorrow.

TOM LINECAR-BOULTON
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Tom trained at Central School of Ballet. On graduating he joined K-Ballet Company in Japan before returning to the UK to take up a contract with English National Ballet and embark on a freelance career. Most prolifically Tom became the third of Channel 4’s Ballet Boyz (with William Trevitt & Michael Nunn), before taking on the role of Billy’s Older Self in the multi award-winning West End musical Billy Elliot.
In 2009 Tom left Billy Elliot to pursue a teaching career. Before founding Dancebox, Tom worked as a freelance teacher for English National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet and most of the UK’s major awarding bodies and professional training colleges.
Tom has a BA (Hons) in Dance and Culture from the University of Surrey, a Diploma in Dance and the Art of Ballet from Central School of Ballet and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich. He was also short-listed for the directorship of the Council for Dance, Drama & Musical Theatre (CDMT), where he was a member of several high-profile dance and mu-training committees.

NIKKI TROW
PROFESSIONAL COMMERCIAL DANCE & PERFORMANCE COURSE LEADER
As well as being an exceptional educator, Nikki Trow is an iconic choreographer and creative director whose career spans over a decade at the very top of the industry. After a dynamic 12-year career as a professional dancer across TV, stage, film, and the global music industry she continued to build her creative brand, developing a longstanding relationship with Kylie Minogue. Nikki has also choreographed and directed for Little Mix, Ed Sheeran, S Club 7, Ben Platt, Mollie King, X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, and 20th Century Fox, among others. She has contributed choreography to 10 consecutive seasons of Britain’s Got Talent, with additional credits on The Greatest Dancer and Comic Relief.

PROFESSIONAL DANCE AND MUSICAL THEATRE COURSE LEADER
Jack is a passionate and highly respected dance educator whose dedication to shaping the next generation of performers has established him as one of the leading vocational teachers in the UK. Jack began his career as a professional dancer and lead aerialist with Royal Caribbean and brings a wealth of real-world experience in cruise, cabaret and musical theatre to his practice. Since transitioning into teaching and education, Jack is committed to igniting talent and instilling the discipline, focus, and finesse required for success in today’s competitive industry.
Jack is a passionate and highly respected dance educator whose dedication to shaping the next generation of performers has established him as one of the leading vocational teachers in the UK. After an iconic performing career, Gemma’s CV boasts an extensive list of credits in most of the West End’s hit shows, Since retiring from performing, Gemma has worked on some of the UK’s biggest productions and is a long time Assistant Choreographer to Karen Bruce, working on shows including Strictly Come Dancing and the Royal Variety Performance. As Head of Performances, she brings unparalleled experience, professionalism, and industry connections to the Dancebox team.
