MANAGING DIRECTOR

Tom, a distinguished alumnus of the renowned Central School of Ballet, has etched his name in the global dance landscape as a consummate professional and esteemed educator.

His journey began with a stellar graduation that swiftly led him to join the acclaimed K-Ballet Company in Japan. He later returned to the UK, accepting a coveted contract with the English National Ballet and launching a successful freelance career. A significant highlight of his performance career was his role as the third member of Channel 4's Ballet Boyz, joining ranks with William Trevitt and Michael Nunn, and notably taking centre stage as Billy's Older Self in the multi-award-winning West End musical, Billy Elliot.

In 2009, Tom transitioned from the stage to the classroom, pursuing his passion for nurturing the next generation of dancers. He swiftly became a full-time member of the Ballet Faculty at Bird College. His exceptional teaching skills led to an offer as Head of Dance at Bodywork, Cambridge, but he instead accepted the role of Head of Graduate Performance at Tring Park. Alongside these commitments, he continues to enrich dancers as a freelance guest teacher for the English National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, and numerous UK awarding bodies and dance institutions.

Tom has collaborated with many of the UK's leading examination boards, including bbodance where he was instrumental in developing the new Musical Theatre syllabus, and the Royal Academy of Dance, where he contributed as part of the Continuing Professional Development Working Group.

His academic credentials are equally impressive, holding a BA (Hons) degree in Dance & Culture from the University of Surrey, a PGCE from the University of Greenwich, and a Diploma in The Art of Classical Ballet from Central School of Ballet. He has registered teacher status (RTS) with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). Tom's impact on the world of dance education was recognized when he was shortlisted for the directorship of the Council for Dance and Musical Theatre (CDMT).

Tom stands as a global leader in dance performance and education, his career weaving a story of dedication, excellence, and profound impact. His commitment to shaping the world of dance continues to leave a lasting impression on students and professionals alike.
