We have various student accommodation options available depending on preference and budget. Polhill Park Halls of Residence Halls of Residence - Polhill Park is our student halls of residence, where Dancebox students live together in shared flats. It's a particularly great option for new students as you can confirm your accommodation as soon as you are successful in your Dancebox audition, taking away any stress and worry about finding accommodation later in the year. The accommodation is approximately a 20-minute drive from the college. Students without their own transport have access to a private Dancebox coach service to get them to and from the college. Each flat at Polhill Park includes a communal kitchen and modern living space, and there are a variety of room types available for all budgets and circumstances. Private Rental - We work closely with letting agents and landlords across Milton Keynes to offer safe, reliable and good quality accommodation which can be shared by small groups of Dancebox students. Many of our second and third year students choose to share privately rented accommodation and it’s a great way to safely develop your independence and responsibility. Host Families - Host Families are a great option if you are looking for a true feeling of home, where you will be welcomed into a bustling household of caring and experienced parental adults. This option provides an environment where you can Instantly feel safe, and have people around to support your transition into living away from home. DEGREE COURSES The annual tuition fee for both the BA (Hons) in Professional Dance & Musical Theatre and the BA (Hons) Professional Commercial Dance & Performance is £9790.00 per year. Student loan funding available to students from England, Northern Ireland and Ireland through Student Finance England (SFE) and to students from Scotland through Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) - please note that at this time student finance is not available to students from Wales, who would normally make applications through Student Finance Wales (SFW) We are working with SFW and our validating university to resolve the funding issue for students from Wales and hope to be able to support SFW funding applications again soon. FOUNDATION COURSE The tuition fee for the 1-year Pearson HNC in Performing Arts (Dance & Musical Theatre) is £7500. Student loan funding available to students from England, Northern Ireland and Ireland through Student Finance England (SFE) and to students from Scotland through Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) - please note that at this time student finance is not available to students from Wales, who would normally make applications through Student Finance Wales (SFW) We are working with SFW and our validating university to resolve the funding issue for students from Wales and hope to be able to support SFW funding applications again soon. SIXTH FORM DANCE COURSE The 2-year Sixth Form Dance course includes the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing & Production Arts, which is fully funded for students who are aged 16 - 18 at the commencement of the course and have not previously received funding for a Level 3 qualification. There is no additional loan or grant funding available to help with living costs for students enrolling on Level 3 or 4 programmes. ANNUAL ENRICHMENT FEE On all Dancebox courses, there is an Annual Enrichment Fee which covers the expense of additional tuition which is provided in addition to the the core qualification (Degree, HNC or Level 3 Diploma). The Annual Enrichment Fee for the '26/'27 academic year is £720 (Degree & Foundation courses), billed as 9 payments of £80 per month or £630 (Sixth Form courses), billed as 9 payments of £70 per month.

Yes. You can book your Dancebox audition as soon as dates become available, and at any time during your choice making process with UCAS. However, we strongly recommend that you book your audition as soon as possible, as places are limited for each course and demand for audition dates are high.

Yes. In fact, we strongly recommend it. If you know that you want to study at Dancebox and want to get your audition booked early before attending an Open Day, you can apply as soon as audition dates are available.

NO. We require one headshot and one body shot that can be taken on your phone or digital camera. For the photos to be accepted they must be clear and recognisable, so that we can identify you at the audition.

Both courses offer very different destinations in terms of career entry. As a result, each degree has a very different focus in terms of progression, dance styles studied and how you are trained to exit your degree to have the best skill set and opportunities to enter your chosen industry. The time spent on practical verses theory is an approximate split of 70/30. 70% Practical 30% Theory

We have onsite pastoral support for all and any students who need help getting through all the challenges presented with moving away from home, making new friends and pushing through the mental and physical challenges of completing a degree in dance. At Dancebox, our students mental health and wellbeing is top priority and we will do everything possible to ensure our students have the support they need, when they need it.

As well as classes dedicated to understanding how to look after your body physically and through nutrition, we have therapists and massage practitioners appropriate for athletes in the local area and close by to the college. Many of our students attend local gyms and recreational classes for physical conditioning and development.
